Uniforms

Pack 440 Uniforms

In Pack 440, the “Class A Uniform” is just the uniform shirt. So, the pants, socks, hat, belt, etc. are optional.

  • Fifth graders should wear the tan shirt. They can keep this shirt when they become “Scouts”.
  • K-4th graders should wear the blue shirt. Kindergarteners can optionally instead wear the “Lion T-Shirt” at any uniformed events.

Patches: You need the “4”, “4”, and “0” numerals, the world crest patch, the ring around it, and the council patch for the Greater Hudson Valley.

You can either order from either:

  • The Scout Shop in Fishkill, which will sew patches on for you at $4 / patch. If you do this, ask them to give your order to “Eric Louis” to bring to “Brian Rosenthal” (he’s at the location most Wednesdays). And message Brian Rosenthal after you do that so he can reach out to Eric.
  • Online at ScoutShop.org.
  • The Scout Shop in Greenwich, the easiest place to try on things in person.

We provide the neckerchief and slide to scouts at the end of the year ceremony for their next level.

We are trying to start a “Scout Closet” to exchange uniforms so email Brian Rosenthal for more details on that. If you’d like your child to have the neckerchief and slide for their first year, reach out to Brian Rosenthal to see if we have extras from last year before purchasing.
